The path that we will take will be:

Turn right on Wilmot Ave arriving into Twin Lakes WI.

Bear to the right fork in the road to EM

Stay on EM turning Left on Hwy F (going past Powers Lake)

Right on Eastside Rd

Sorry if I placed this in the wrong place.

There is another ride on Sunday July 20th.

Chicagoland Ride for Kids®
July 20, 2008

Chicagoland's 2007 stars celebrate the total raised at the nation's all-time leading Ride for Kids® event.
NEW LOCATION!

Elgin Community College
1700 Spartan Dr.
Elgin, IL 60123

* View a map

Join thousands of other motorcyclists for a scenic ride through the rural countryside northwest of Chicago. You'll have a great time while raising funds for the PBTF's medical research and family support programs! Riders on all makes and models are welcome.

Registration opens at 7 a.m. and closes at 9:15. The police-escorted ride starts at 9:30 a.m. sharp, rain or shine!

The ride will loop back to the college. After a light lunch, participants will enjoy a Celebration of Life program that features interviews with young brain tumor survivors—the Ride for Kids® "stars" of the day. Award presentations to top fundraisers and distribution of premiums will follow.

The minimum donation to ride is $35, but the more money you raise, the more premiums you earn. For each $300 you raise, your name will be entered into a drawing for a brand-new Honda motorcycle! For more information, call 800-253-6530.

I might be up for this. I got an email from Nielsen Enterprises saying there is a ride from Nielsen's to Elgin Community College for the "Ride for Kids":

"Just meet at Nielsen Enterprises between 6:00 - 6:45am with a full tank of gas and we all ride together. You can fill up at the Shell station on the corner of 83 & Grand Ave (Rt 132) open 24 hours. We leave at 7:00am sharp!"

Anyone from the lake co. area doing this?

Meeting at Nielsens also for the ride

Ezra:
I'm going to meet at Nielsens Sunday morning for the ride. My wife is going to meet me in Elgin for the 2-up from there. She isn't to keen about waking up at 5:00 am. I live in Lake in the Hills and plan on riding to Nielsens to start from there. I have a Pearl White VFR 800 with a trunk (trust me you can't miss me). Hope to see you there.

I live right by there. If it's nice I'll swing by. I can't do the ride though.

I think the Nielsens crew are leaving early (7am) because the ride from lake villa to ECC will take at least an hour ten min.
