Broken Keurig

I got a Keurig a month ago. I ran it a dozen times and the damn thing breaks. When you turn it on it wont pull water out of the resevoir and send it to the heating chamber. It's a known issue and they mailed me a replacement. The weird thing is they told me to throw the other one away.

Any nerds out there want the busted one? See if you can fix it? Although it may be a fried board or something...

come get it...

I got mine for Christmas and it randomly shuts itself off, sounds similar to yoru issue, sounds like it is moving water to heater side and then shuts off and have to unplug to reset. Did you call Kuerig directly?

I'll take it from you! I've been wanting to gut a coffee maker for a project anyways. I live right between Dave and you.

they make pretty good coffee for the convenience they provide. Sure I used a french press to make mine today but it's a hell of a lot more work than a keurig.

Make sure you check that the needle that pierces the bottom of the k-cup isn't clogged with coffee grounds. Use a small paper clip per the manual. I thought the one we have at work was busted too. The system will automatically send the heated water back to the reservoir if it senses any back pressure due to a clog.

My mother in law has one of those, and every time I go there this shit is screwed up, but I figure it out why. You cant open the top to remove the insert until that whole cycle is over and light ready show’s up again. My brother in law always opens that machine right away when it stops pouring water in it and whole system is going south. After that you have to run at least full 4 cycles to reset this stuff up.

Personally I don’t like the taste of the coffee from Keurig, that why I got the Tassimo. This is more expensive if it comes to the t-discs but coffee tastes much better. Tassimo has less variety if it comes to coffee selection but you can get lattes and cappuccinos etc.
