When my daughter was born I quit racing. No time or money, I still have track bike and do 1 or 2 track days a season. You slow down a bunch, but it's real fun and not as costly. Just sell down to the bare minimum and do an occasional track day/ class.

Bah,
Just load the bikes up in the trailer, find someone who can store them for you so she doesn't find storage bills or anything.

Then do a track day a month next year.

All you have to say is, "I sold the EVERYTHING to my pal. He's letting me take them all out on the track, for the heck of it!"

That would work for you, unless she's expecting to see the $10k income from the sales.

I think that may be the road we attempt first.

Trailer goes, and a big cutback on the track days next year. maybe 1/ month (not like now when i think i did like 7 or 8 already with 2 more weekends coming!)

I think all I'll keep is bike stand and leathers. we'll see how that works out.

I kicked mine to the curb for not letting me have a bike (plus a host of other reasons) but still, bike was high on the list.

I say, get rid of the trailer, that is a no brainer, and then tone down the riding, maybe cut out another activity. Be fully insured, and convince her that you are worth more dead than alive ..... she will be driving you to the track.

Always works. That how I got my 929. Now she's asking if anything faster is coming out next year.

All seriousness dude. I do agree with some of the posts. If she is pushing you for this decision then you will end up regrettin it and her in the long run when everyone's out riding or on track days. If it is a decision where it is probably about time to give it up (and she's just nudging you a little) then it is probably for the best. But if you can have the best of both worlds by selling a little than do that. You can't let them take over but you do need to compromise. Bikes today then what will she ask for tomorrow!

1 more thing. When you go nuts and have to buy everything back how much will it cost then?

Living life! Because before you know it it is over!
