Paypal payment question?

I was wondering if I'm safe accepting payment from an unconfirmed address? I sold some stuff to some guy who's from Milwaukee. He sent the payment tonight through Paypal and it's coming from an unconfirmed address. I'm meeting him tomorrow half way and just want to make sure I don't get something from Paypal in the next few days saying they're pulling the funds.

Anyone know how this works and if it's safe?

Thanks

I think the only thing about an unconfirmed address was possibly having an issue with shipping. Seeing you are meeting with the person, you should be fine.

Only way to guarantee funds is to ship to a confirmed address and get a signature if it's over a certain amount, around $300 or so. If you are meeting in person, I would get cash instead.

Thanks everyone

I'm not too worried, people know people so worse case I think I could find him if need be. I was just wondering if Paypal can say your funds are confirmed and then turn around and say oops, never mind.

Just an FYI, this was cut and pasted from the Paypal website. So it does not matter, you recieve a payment in Paypal, you must ship it and use the tracking info for your protection, confirmed or unconfirmed. No tracking info, no protection.

If he sent you the payment..... you can withdraw it before you go.

Have him sign a receipt of delivery for the item and take a picture of him with it.
