Auto alignments

Anyone have a contact to get this done in the NW burbs or Chicago area. I'll need to probably get two to four cars done this year

I know Firestone has lifetime. But it's more then I can spend right now.

Anyone?

Call a manager of a local place and tell them you have four cars to do, see if he can make you a deal.

I won't be doing them all right now. Just over the next year probably. But that is a thought.

don't go there. I took my car there cause I had an extended warranty, and they messed it up. They burnt a hole in my cv boot, they left the backing nut off of the new tie rod. They replaced my castle nuts with locking nuts on the tie rods. They broke the clip to my abs sensor causing the wire to rub against the cv boot thus shorting it out. And the car pulls to the right after the alignment they did. They denied messing up anything and wanted to charge me to fix the mistakes they made.

I thought you do not need "alignment" unless something in the steering linkage has been replaced. common reasons for side pull - bad tires, pressure, worn/bent suspension.

the steering linkage(tie rods) can still bend slightly over time causing the front end to be out of alignment. tire wear is your best indicator of poor alignment. also if the wheel turns back to center by itself (let go at the end of a turn). depending on how your tires wear will indicate what part of your alignment or suspension parts (shocks)

left or right pull can emanate from many actual cause such as tire wire/tread depth, tire pressure, etc)

4-wheels may be a privilege, but 2-wheels are a passion.

Rub your hand over the tire. If you feel bumps or sharp edges you need sus. work done and (or) alignment done.

Lisle Honda has a coupon for an $80 alignment. I am replacing my front shock assemblies and will be getting an alignment from them after I'm done.

My name is JB, people call me JB

Don't go to Firestone. They will jack up the price- the only one worst than them is the stealership.
