I'd rather just run to someplace local rather than order them online. I've already been to Advance Auto, and I plan to try pep boys and harbor freight after work

searched "angled valve stems" before I began this thread and came up with 8 threads. The only one that gave any help was a thread by leavendust for tires but I really don't care to drive from Naperville up to Mundelien for a $2 part.

good angled stems are more than $2 a piece, and good luck finding them locally.

This. MCC might have them since Triumphs and Ducs come with them stock along with steal braided brake lines. This is one of the many reasons why Triumphs are the mothafuckin sheezy.

And yeah, colored ones are FLY.

Ok, I understand now. I guess I was kinda thinking 90 degree stems are to 83 degree stems, like kleenex are to tissues. (That would be a simile for those of you who didn't pay attention in grade school) I was planning on getting the 83's

I'm just glad that I remembered about getting them this year since I forgot last year. I always managed to piss myself off with the stock ones

I'm putting the 83 degree stems on all my wheels (track and street bikes) as the tires get changed. The 83 degree ones work great on the Gixxers and on my CBR. I sourced mine from Kurvey Girl, but Turn One Racing also usually has them in stock during track season.

Just buy a Triumph, that is my reasoning.........always looking for a reason to buy a new toy, or helping others rationalize buying something new
But seriously I do dig the angle stems.
