Opinions wanted for my new bike

I have a 1985 Yamaha Virago 1000 and I'm looking at getting a newer bike. I have 4 options right now, but I would like some feedback on them. I'm looking at a Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Custom, Honda Shadow Aero 750, Honda Shadow Spirit 750, and Harley Sportster 1200 Low. Any opinions on which bike is best?

Want to buy my Kawasaki Vulcan 800 Classic? :-)

If you're interested in aftermarket accessories, the Harley & Honda will have the most variety. There's a fair amount out there for Vulcans, but nowhere near as much as H&H... but moreso than say, any of the Suzuki cruisers.

I'm kinda of the mindset that if you're gonna go cruiser, get a Harley. But that's just my opinion and you asked for opinions. Not because of the resale, but more because its a Harley and you can get lots of cool matching clothes. I know how important that is to the ladies.

You'd really fit in at saddleup then.

personally the Harley. 750's I don't care for so I would stay 1100 or bigger. Plus as stated it's a Harley

I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin', and hook up with them later!!

I've been looking at Harley for a while now and I'm kinda partial to it but these others are nice to. BTW I already have quite a bit of Harley gear so I don't have to worry about that.

Get a '99 YZ125 and that will give you a pretty good idea of which one you should get later on.

The VStar 1100 is too heavy in the front end for me and the 950 is kinda iffy.

I'm liking the Aero 750 and Vulcan 900 the best I think.

PM Sunshine on the board. She works at IL Harley and might be able to get you a decent deal. She just hooked up my little brother with his first bike. A 2006 Honda Shadow VLX 600.

Out of the four I like the HD the best. I'd rock that new 1200xr or whatever it is, or that 883 iron if you were going new or only a few years old.

you realize the sportster 1200 is pretty much the same weight as the 950 and 1100 right

Honestly, no I didn't realize that. However, the weight is either distributed more evenly in the 1200 than the others...or I'm just crazy. 1 of the 2.

Define heavier. Looks or feel? Have you ridden them both? Why is the 950 iffy?

The more detailed you are here the easier a diagnosis will be.

Maybe a cruiser isn't what you should be looking at then. I've yet to meet a cruiser that feels "light" aside from a Rebel 250.

What is your price range here? Year range?

Side note: post pics of the single one.
