Our future generation

I chaperoned yesterday for my niece's freshmen high school class to the Field Museum. She attends a city magnet school, so I came across a variety of students there. After spending time with them it made me think about the screwed-up path our country is heading towards with this generation.

All I noticed was skanky cloths and cell phones; lots of trash talking; massive cheating on the field trip assignment; and the typical efforts to fit into a group.

There were some students who were trying to learn and have intellectual discussions, but they were being held back by the dumb ones.

I'm not an old man to rant about this. In fact, I graduated from this HS in 2004.

I feel sorry for these kids and where this country is heading if this is what our future generation looks like. Not sure where the blame lies...

You better be nice to America or we will bring democracy to your country.

This is said about every generation. Keep an eye out for the ones who are actually trying to learn something because those are the people that the dumb ones are going to be working for.

And look at the shit these 13 year olds are listening to:

Pitbull

Bring your girls,
it's whatever tonight,
your man just left,
i'm the plumber tonight,
I check your pipes,
oh, you're the healthy type.
Well, here goes some egg whites.
Now gimme that sweet, that nasty gooshy stuff,
let me tell you what we gon' do.
2 + 2, i'm gon' undress you.
Then we're gonna go 3 and 3 you gon' undress me.
Then we're gonna go 4 and 4,
We gon' freak some more, but first!

After party in hotel lobby,
then we off to the room like vroom,
Put them fingers in yo mouth or open up yo blouse,
and pull that g-sting down south (ouhh)
OK shawty, 1's company, 2's a crowd, and 3's a party.
if your girl ain't with it, I got somebody,
and by nature she's naughty.
Now gimme that sweet, that nasty gooshy stuff.
Lemmi' tell you what we gon' do,
2 + 2, i'm gon' undress you.
Then we gonna go 3 and 3, you gon' undress me.
Then we gonna go 4 and 4, we gon' freak some more! But first...

That is why I rarely do field trips.

With my class I can get things done but then you have to drag some useless teachers along that don't give a shit and that ruins it.

Send an email to the principal or dean and tell him or her what you saw. They will be thankful.

FACE DOWN ASS UP! THAT'S THE WAY WE LIKE TO FUCK!
(repeated by the rest of the Crew)

Verse 1: Fresh Kid Ice
I'm lookin' for a bitch to spend the night
Do the crazy thing while I fuck all night
I make her do things like nothing before
And when I'm done, she'll always be sore
>From the things I do when I'm fuckin'
And when I'm tired, the bitches are suckin'
A double team with a friend of mine
Luke's in front and I'm behind
Just ridin' you like a pony
While you suck my dick, makin' me horny
Then all of a sudden we'll switch positions
Prop your ass up and freak the pushin'
And when I cum, you'll hear me roar
I'll treat any bitch like a whore
'Cause it's the way I like to fuck
It's face down and ass up!

Chorus

Verse 2: Brother Marquis
Face down, ass up, that's the way I like to fuck
I like the butt, it's my favorite position
I'm tired of the front, so that's why I'm bitchin'
Flip-flop it, baby, bend your ass over
In a full house spread, let me hold ya
Marquis, a raw dick motherfucker
Virgin mouthpieces, the best dick-suckers
Dick-tricks, go round and round
Grip it with your pussy, go up and down
I got her callin' my name out when I'm freakin' out
I bust a nut, and then I'm breakin' out
So when you're naked, down on all fours
You better make sure that you get yours
'Cause a nigga like me will love ya and leave ya
I got mine, hoe! SEE YA!

Chorus

Verse 3: Luke
OK fellas, I got one right here, aaight? Check this out:
Lemme hear you say,
"Pussy ain't nuttin' but meat on the bone
Suck it or fuck it or leave it alone!"
(they all repeat)
Say "Pussy ain't nuttin' but meat on the bone
Suck it or fuck it or leave it alone!"
(they all repeat)
OK ladies, I got one for y'all!
Say "Dick ain't nuttin' but meat on the bone
Suck it or fuck it or leave it alone!"
(the ladies repeat)
All the ladies lemme hear you say
"Dick ain't nuttin' but meat on the bone
Suck it or fuck it or leave it alone!"
(the ladies repeat)

Chorus

This school does have a separate program for better performing students. But other than that, I don't know what else the principal can do with the limited resources he receives.

what disturbs me more than kids being dumb/slutty/trashy is the teaching body leading these children. I've noticed that mostly the people who were total duds in my school/life become teachers. The intelligent people go to high power jobs and teaching below college level is left mostly for the passionate and the "other" set. Sadly that other set seems to out weigh those who go into it for the passion these days

Yep, therein lies one of the problems. Another thing that I wish they did is to pay students based on grade level and most importantly performance level, starting in college, and maybe award students in some better way at least below that level. Being a college student is after all a full time job, and the end result is a mountain of debt to dig your way out of for most.

There is a saying, "Those who can't do, teach."
I have seen the same thing throughout my education. For ever really good professor or teacher, there are 5 duds.

The problem is teachers make jack for wages compared to industry. So the majority of "smart" people will have careers in industry that make alot of money. And only a few will become teachers, and then typically only college professors. Then you get the leftovers for teaching K-12. Those that couldn't hack it in harder classes or don't have the drive to be better. Not saying ALL are that way, as Ive had some good teachers over the years.

So you have to raise taxes and pay teachers more. Better people will tend to migrate towards education, students will learn more, and society as a whole will be better off.

Yeah, but the duds in most jobs just bottom out and ruin their own lives. Teaching is a huge impact on a bunch of people's lives at crucial points in intellectual development....or at least ideally it should be.

The devolving has started earlier with each passing year. For my oldest's (18yrs old) class, this crap really didn't start until 6th grade. For my current 15 yr old, this started in about 5th grade, for my 3rd (13 yrs old) this crap started in 4th and for my youngest (10), this crap started at the beginning of 3rd grade...

Same shit, but higher intensity at a younger age...

It's not going to get any better either. I can't wait for them all to be out of school and away from that shit (and they can't stand it either).

parental involvement in a child's education does a far greater good than any teacher can. I see it everyday at my kid's school. The best teacher in the world can't teach a child who just don't give a fuck.

I agree to that completely, it's a give and take, but a teacher who can inspire can have a great affect on the students who can be whipped into shape. Those who don't give a fuck probably are lost in the long run anyway.

Chicago schools dont seem to be too bad as far as money! To work 9 months out of the year, not to bad! When they get to level 14 its almost 90k a year, look at the results, what is it 50% drop out rate, i wish i could fuck up at my job and providde only 50% results and get paid what i make now!

I think after working with educators in higher education, that teachers are overrated. I deal with ppl who have PhD, Masters who are teaching that can barely even know how to read and follow directions but all they do is pass it to the students to use. And mind you these instructions are written in 5th grade level. So don't blame the kids, its the idiot teachers who shouldnt be teaching in the first place.

With higher education, some professors aren't there to teach, they're there for research and they treat teaching like it's a punishment for them. Those people shouldn't be allowed to teach.

I concur I always question why people want to be a teacher before they tried anything else. Real world experience plays a huge role in the classroom.

Private school pay is shit, but I make a pretty comfortable living. Of course I would like more, but would take extra help or smaller class size instead of.

It's not going to get any better either. I can't wait for them all to be out of school and away from that shit (and they can't stand it either).
I can show you 8 year old kids that you would not believe.

Now multiply that by 10 per room.
