My touch - T Mobile users are you happy?

I'm thinking of changing from At&t with a Blackberry and no data plan to a Tmobile to a my touch with a data plan.

Hows the service?
How's the phone?

Will I be happy? I generally just need to get email on my phone and sync it with out look for my contacts. I like the BB bold. But don't know if I could unlock it and take it to tmobile or anywhere else.

I switched to T-Mobile like 3 months ago and have mixed feelings. Service has been good and I've never had a dropped call, low signal, etc. Customer service has been pretty good too.

I've just had a weird problem where twice they claim to not have received my payment and both times I paid with a debit card through their automated system. I have to end up faxing in my bank statement and it will take quite a few weeks to get straightened out so in the meantime I had to double pay and wait for them to credit my account or else I'll get late fees or get shut off. I've paid by electronic check on their automated system and never had a problem. According to the local store, this is a common issue and they recommended I just pay in the store every month so I won't have this issue. I've got a nice 2 month credit now but it's just been a pain in the ass.

Sorry don't know anything about that phone though.
