New Job, looks like I'm moving to California

Well I received a new job offer yesterday from my company. I have been asking for a change for about 2 years and they came through. I'm taking a similar position in San Jose, Ca. I'm work through the details on the offer, but it looks like I'll be accepting it.

The start date is negotiable, but it looks April 5th or 12th. I'll probably commute back and forth until my condo sells. So maybe I'll get to enjoy some of the Chicago summer.

So yes, I am selling the gsxr. Don't think I'll have the time or money to be riding out there for now. I'll stick to riding dirt the entire year and I'll probably use the money to buy some road bikes for the woman and myself. The GF is moving with me...and when I say GF I don't mean Mopar. He turned me down.

I'm not going to miss Chicago much...it was never really the scene for me, but I am going to miss you guys. My friends are the only thing making it hard for me to leave.

My car is free..company car. Couldn't sell it if i wanted to.
The gixxer is track only...while there are awesome tracks out there, i don't think i'll have the time or money to use them...have to save money for a down payment on a shack that costs like $10M out there.

I'll still be riding, just dirt instead of street/track. I'll get back into those after a little break.

dammit i thought we might've been able to get a quick deal out of you

well good luck out there, i loved the weather and the option to go up in to the mountains and enjoy nature then go down to the valley to party it up all in the same day. there are also a LOT of Koreans there so good eats were plentiful for me. only thing i hated were the abundance of idiots on the road and just random people i met. sarcasm is a lost art over there

So...would they consider it legal to "open carry" an AR-15 on a 3-point sling?

Good Luck Steve You could leave your gixxer with me if you want. I'll take real good care of it.
