Love how the Cop NAILS it to go 3 feet fwd

On the positive side, at least the cop did block the lane so nobody could come by with a car and run him over when trying to get his bike up.

First video: Fawking Kawi riders.

Second video: Can you say "target fixation"?

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!

I know right where this is on Mulholland. There's almost always a squad there on weekends, and there's a rest turnout right above that area where you can stand and watch folks do dumb stuff.

In the first video (lowside), there is a camber change right about where he crashed. It flattens out from a slight bank and he lost traction. If you look at the vid, he feels his turn widening due to the loss of the banking, and tries to turn in a bit more, and loses it.

Often, there is fine dirt on the road at that 180 (second video) that can be squirrly. Donno if that's what he was looking at? Definitely looks like target fixation. In real life, that guard rail is right at the road edge, and it's easy to freak when going into that 180 degree switchback on an uphill grade.
