My phone is caput

I like the Casio Rock.

Rugged and simple. No bells or whistles and l don't care for the small computer type phones.
Does any one have one?

Would like your opinion.

I skimmed a few reviews, overall it gets a 7 out of 10. Not bad for a verizon phone. I know you use the camera on your old phone a bit, make sure you like the one on the new phone. Also Verizon is getting a version of the iPhone. Might be more than you need though.

I have had an iPhone for a few years and love it. Started with 2G then got the 16g 3G I use now. It's more phone than I know how to use.

I've had the Casio rock for a few weeks as my work phone. Call quality can be a bit iffy, but it works well. It is pretty durable and I've already dropped it in water with no ill effects. The PTT on verizon doesn't work nearly as well as Nextel though.

The features on the Rock are just like my old VG.

I'm mostly interested in the tough guy attitude the phone has because for me it's a tool not a toy.I need it to be just that.

Exactly why we have them at our shop. Our phones have a high chance or ending up in water and getting dropped and kicked around. These seem to hold up great.
We don't use any of the bells and whistles on them really, maybe a picture of a part now and again.

Samsung Smooth? Seems basic, and I know that my Samsung is a really good phone.

Also is a flip phone, so the buttons are protected.

Or if you do any amount of texting. The Intensity looks good.

Awesome camera, has the waterproof features, no push to talk, but it's cheaper and is the same brand as you mentioned.
