Best FORD Commercial

Ford has not accepted a penny from the government
bailout and should be marketing
their action. But in my mind they have chosen to
take a higher road - a road with class. Enjoy this to the very
end.

Ford out did themselves with this
commercial. They have now come up with
a timely
and heartwarming product commercial that would
make Henry Ford proud of the company he founded
in 1903.

To be completely honest you may
want a Kleenex tissue nearby while
watching this. Very special indeed

It was like a folgers coffer commercial but with a poorer writing staff and worse actors.

Hell, I liked it. It did run a bit long (not sure if you can call it a commercial) but it was well done. W00t for the armed forces.

5 minutes commercial? IMO it's too long and just OK.

I wonder if they would market that the head of Ford SVT team is an Asian dude LOL :P

I like the point they were making. Good on Ford. I'm glad to see an American auto company that might really be getting their shit together.

Or that they use Toyota's technology in the Escape Hybrid.

I wasnt a ford guy untill i recently was told the same fact, that ford rejected the bail money and chose to dig them selves out of the hole. From then forth i was a ford fan.

Great find, props to ford for making that commerical for the our military men and women. and may God bless our troops with a safe and happy return home.

Everyone needs a healthy way to relax, mine Church, and two wheels, a stretch of winding road, and a pipe loud enough to give me headaches and make squirrels explode. (Fixed curtousey of PWRMAD)

Nothing is impossible the second we say ill try your already admiting you can be defeated, and the second you say i cant or its to hard youve already failed.

they didn't accept money? umm they why were they in front of congress when GM and Chrysler got money? o ya, cause they said they didn't need any but they wanted money too if everyone else is getting money. either way, its just marketing. people get paid thousands of dollars to do fords marketing.. and this is just another way they are making more money for themselves.

I like the patriotic message, but as a commercial it's just too long and predictable.

Yes for did not take money for the bailout.

What they did sign was an agreement with the Govt for some XXXmillion or billion line of credit in the future.

Why didn't he get him a Cobra? Oh well, that new GT probably has more hp than the old Cobra anyways - but I'd still rather have the older Cobra.

The sentiment of family, father and son bonding and patriotism has been missing in advertising for quite awhile. Good on Ford for including that into one of their ads. Besides that, it was a good reminder to a big self centered populace that our service men & women are coming home from being in harms way every day. It was a bit long, but it has class compared to most of the TV ads out there..

"Dirt is for racing on...Asphalt is for getting there" OR "Flat trackers go in deeper and come out harder... OR (With apologies to General MaCarthur) "Old motorcycle racers never die, they just slip off the groove and fade into the dust!

If you want to anger a conservative, tell him a lie. To anger a liberal all one must do is tell the truth!

the NEW Cobras are awesome machines... I was surprised it wasn't a Cobra as well, it woulda matched the "timeless" theme better.

It is pretty awkward for me to watch. It's like a deleted scene from a 7th Heaven episode. Guess I'm a douche too. Because of a car commercial. I can live with that.

I've owned over 15 fbodies but I love the 2010 redesign way more than the fugly 99-04s and the meh 05-09s. 2011 Grabber Blue GT 6-speed, please. Well, or a 1993 Cobra.

Using a car to bond with an adult child... Yes, why didn't daddy buy him a $50,000+ Cobra?

I thought it had a nice touch to it, not so much the car but the passing on of traditions, both combat vets and both liking there cars..

The only thing I was confused about is why the hell he was still in cammies by the time he got to his home airport and why his sleeves were rolled up? Lol, they could keep it a little more realistic
