I know you can get free if you maintain XXX amount in the checking account or do direct deposit.

Bank also is trying to push me to sign a paper that says, if iz got no money, they will still allow a purchase to go through. I said, ya, and i'll get overdraft fee. He says, not if you make it to the bank same day and pay it.
Plus, some guy can steal my checking account cuz hes a hak0red and go internet crazi. And the bank wouldn't do crap about it, which I have a feeling why they are pushing people to sign.

tellers, showed me all the papers he got signed. They will not even provide the terms of what you are signing. Its more like "i am agreeing to the changes that are not documented on this legal form"

Don't bank at TCF they make a lot of money off misc fees and penalties.

I bank with Harris and have been happy, they have overdraft protection available ($500 credit line basically that covers you so you can still make purchases and don't get any fees if you overdraft). You'll have to pay interest on that money if you haven't paid it back in 30days.
