Drunk bikers....

Really WTF is it with people getting on bikes (or behind the wheel) drunk? We had 3 fatal bike crashes in the last 2 months and all were because the rider was drinking. 2 of them within the last 4 days. Ironically they are on the same highway (US HWY 14 west of Janesville).

April 16. US HWY 14 and CTY E. Blew through a stop sign and slammed into a ditch. 41 yrs old

May 27. US HWY 14 and US HWY 51. Blew through a red light and hit 2 vehicles. 47 yrs old

May 31. US HWY 14 & W Union Rd. Blew a curve and lost it. 61 yrs old

So sick of the fucking slack laws in WI about DUI.

I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

I don't know why anyone would ever drink and drive, let alone drink. Alcohol is a poison and extremely harmful to the body.

And to add in the 2 bikers that died in separate incedents this year when a vehicle turned left in front of them. SO far havent even heard so much as a peep if the drivers of the vehicles got ticketed.

I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

Not even gonna go there on those scumbags. They are the reason I got rid of my sled. When WI enacted the 55 at night law, they started coming out in the daytime blasting people at over 100. Too many of these assholes passed me at 100+ within 2' of my sled doing 40. So fuck it.

Lets see. old sled that tops out at 40. Daytime on a straight WIDE trail and I'm on the side.

How about we put you in a canoe and I'll blast past you with a jet boat at 110?

why the hell would I buy a canoe? I'm a FIB, I'd have a jetboat with Nitrous.

speaking of no helmets. My gf and i were in indianapolis this last weekend and i dont think ive seen this many squids riding around with no helmets, and half not even wearing shirts or shoes. I think out of the 100+ bikersortbike and harleys, i only saw 2 wearing helmets.

riding while drinking isn't the problem, it's the stopping that gets tricky.

Doesn't our society kinda blow hot and cold on this? Ads push alcohol as though whatever you're doing, you should be drinking while doing it. Many people seem to buy into that. Then when shit goes bad people wave their finger and and say shame.
