Do you write Diaries?

Do you have the habit of writing diaries? I came to know that writing diaries will be good and enable us to view a glance of our past in later days. I didnít have any experience on it, but like to do it.
What is your experience on this aspect?

I write in a journal when I do long trips on the bike.
