Not What It Appears To Be

I did a car show down here yesterday and came across a most interesting car.

But what kind of car is it?

I know what I THOUGHT it was.

And it fooled everyone that looked at it.

I just never saw one with this motor in it.

And the interior dosen't look it came from Italy.

I know we have an expert on these kind of cars here. Any guesses?

(scroll down for the answer)

It's a Pontiac Fiero!

There are tons of kits to make Fieros look like other cars. It's just about the most homoerotic thing that a human being could do to a car.

I have to admit this one is very well done. It fooled everyone that looked at it, at least untill they looked closely at the motor.

I always thought the Fiero was a nice car that GM never took where it could have gone. With a V-8 and suspention up-grades it could'a been a contender.

It's the equivalent of taking a Honda Civic and turning it in to a super grand touring/drag/road racer/HIN show car. In the end it's still a little Honda Civic.

I guess Fieros were great if you weren't roasted to a crisp by the damn things catching on fire. I'd rather have accelerating issues in a Toyota (you can just turn the car off if you're not a retard) as opposed to asking what that great BBQ smell is coming from only to discover it's your own baby back ribs and ass that's cooking

I thought the fiero was always pimp for its time...but yeah, now its one of the most commonly used cars for kit cars. Personally, I don't understand labeling something for what it isn't. Put a body kit that looks like a Ferrari...cool. But to actually put F badges on it. That's lame. Just my opinion of course.

Civics are great cars for what they're intended. I myself drive and ride Hondas but turn them into something they are not and you ma'am have made it to the list of things that white people do NOT like

Fuck Yeah

anyone else rub one out too?

the guy can spend 1000 bucks for a dash kit and the interior would look like a ferrari 308. Spend couple Gs, and get a v8. 350 or a northstar.

pst Toyota. Atleast the fiero will not kill you. It's american, not a terrorist.

now, the 308s and 328s are real cheap since they are old cars. They had the fiero 308 bodykits in the mid 80s, when the 308 were expensive cars.

They still make current bodykits for the fiero. Driving a 200,000 dollar exotic car for 20,000 or less.

I thought it might have been a MR2 until I saw the Lego interior.

I haven't checked prices in a while, but I'd bet you could find a decent original 308 for low 20's.

Of course you're not blaming the company who is building faulty products that catch fire.

okay, i blame electrical engineers that didn't scope the products before shipment.

If people had cars that were like a 1970 bug that only has 7 circuits, there would be no problem. Headlight, tail light, horn, ignition, turn signal, wipers, radio and if your lucky a blower for the heater.

It is a toyota that has computer controlled ignition kill and transmission shift. A transmission controlled by electrical solenoids that controls all aspects of shifting.

You have code that says MPH 30mph, Ignition kill=true, but mph = 30, can not kill vehicle because it will lose steering and brake function.

Your just using an excuse of the "assumption" of these people being poor drivers eventhough you have a huge defect either electronicaly or with the software itself.

next your gonna say, government invented toyota killing people because they own GM. I know how tinfoil people think.

So what does this have to do with Toyota putting out defective electrical parts and software?

Nothing. I'm not defending them. They fucked up plain and simple and now they'll pay the price. GM is a sorry excuse for an automobile manufacturer and what's worse is we had to pay for it on top of getting burned to death

You're a sorry excuse for a conservative. You don't even recognize a real conservative when you see one. Keep chewing your baccy and collecting your clapped out Fieros. One day that scope might fix one of them

So now they fawked up, before you were crying it was the owners fault. But hey, what do you expect from a POS car and Toyota owners. Tinfoil hat wearing people that buy toyota.
