Amsoil

The CLSB searched results did not show anyone bragging that they are an Amsoil preferred customer or dealer, quite the opposite people discussed how they were looking for a source or how they no longer were a preferred customer or dealer.

Since I will need to order some oil soon, I will be signing up for the 6 month preferred customer status. If anyone needs anything from Amsoil, let me know and I can add it to my order.

I appologize as my search results did not point me in your direction.

I will be buying a case of four gallons of AMSOIL INTERCEPTORô Synthetic 2-Cycle Oil. Will your dealer price be better then the preferred customer price? Please let me know how much delivered to 60053.

Thank you!

Thanks Tony.

I just compared prices with Scott's dealer cost and it appears that it will work best for me to just get the 6 month preferred membership and order directly.

Thanks,
Greg

Another FYI
Account holders "dealers/preferred customers"

But then you pay tax over shipping. I guess it depends on how much your ordering.

Yes, I realized that after I typed it. If they have a storefront in the state, then you pay tax. So picking it up would make the most sense.

True, depending on where you live. The question is, is $15 worth more to you then spending hour or two running that arrand?

IIRC it goes like this,
they have dealers in all 50 states so tax will be charged no matter what.

I guess you should send a letter to Amsoil and explain the problem with their business model.

I doubt they would care. The company is getting thier money either way, it's just the dealers that are getting the short end of the stick.

Depends how you look at it. In this case I would rather have him as a preferred customer then sell him oil direct.

This way I do not need to worry that someone else will be willing to sell it for 25c less
