that pretty much how i solo load a bike into the back of a truck, cept when i do it, it works
ive done it numerous times without trouble and have witnesses

i used to first gear it into the back of my pickup, I also had a step stool, so basically I would just walk the bike up the ramp into the bed. simple

I turn the bike on and clutch it up, in my driveway I dont' need a step due to the incline, however on flat ground I have a small ramp I walk up with
