Help please bike wont start
My friends bike wont start. His regulator caught on fire when he was riding so he took it off and i gave him mine off my bike. Then when i took mine off my bike started without it. But his bike wont even turn on when you turn the key. The lights or the display wont even turn on as if there is no battery in the bike. We checked the battery and it seems to be fine. We also checked the fuses by the battery and they are all good. We took off the tank and the air filter with the compartment that holds the air filter and looked at the wires underneath and they all seem ok like there not fried. What could be the problem? Its a 06 GSXR 750. Please help guys.

probably the main fuse popped, its not with the rest, but i think you guys need to seek professional help, probably have a short somewhere

Chicago cycle is the biggest rip off i think. They ripped me a new one with all the extra crap they added on to my bill of sale.

Why isnt it a good idea giving him my regulator? His bike is a 06 gsxr 750 and mine is a 07 gsxr 600 is there any difference?

his bike fried his regulator, why wouldnt it fry yours if you plug it in without fixing the problem first?

Thats true i was kinda thinking the same thing. Would you know what could have caused it to fry like that and burn the fuse?

Supposibly i heared that there should have been a recall on the regulators because it happened to another friend the same thing and when he went to a shop they told him to put on a 1000 on his when his was a 750. Maybe mine will be ok because its an 07 and not an 06 and its a 600 and not a 750......

too much current draw is what pops fuses, probably the same thing that fried his reg
