They are SLOW! Maybe I am wrong since I rode a C50 not an M90, but now that I left cruisers, I don't think I will go back. I had a hard time keeping up with ppl that rode sporty bikes during grouprides.

M109 is probably the only cruiser I would own. Cool bike. No sportbike, but not slow either.

When you guys say cruisers are slow, is that like 250 to a Liter bike slow, SV to a Liter bike slow, or SV to a 600 slow?

Depends on the bike really. I would never go anything under a 1300 personally. Well besides a Night Rod @ 1250

I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin', and hook up with them later!!

I rode a Suzuki Volusia 800 which is what they called the boulevard before, a 2002. It was a nize smooth ride, not the same kind of acceleration a sport bike provides, and you will miss the lean angle in turns, I scaped pegs just taking an exit ramp at an angle that wouldn't even bring me close to a knee drag on the gixxer, but the ride was very smooth and comfy. You can ride all day on these bikes and feel good.

Straight line, SV to literbike, she pulls like a freight train, torque like crazy, all across the band, cannot corner to save its life though. Seriously, first time I rode it, I basically destroyed my exhaust system by a surprising right hander.

Solid bikes though.

Cruisers can be fun if you're looking for a relaxing enjoy the scenery type of ride. I love having a cruiser again and a sportbike. Best of both worlds.

It's like this:

Cruiser - 2 Up rides and worry free from Cops
Supermoto - The most fun you can have on 2 Wheels
Dirt Bikes - Jumping shit rules the fucking universe - Even Steve Hawking agrees with me on this

"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming WOW, what a RIDE !!"

Hmmmmmm I don't know about this brother..... I was able to break traffic laws/speeds on a 250cc mini chopper in AZ, I'm pretty sure getting in some shit isn't entirely disconnected from the "Cruiser" ride.

Speeding on a cruiser is like doing 100 in a Hyundai - Why?

And it depends man, if your rockin an 883 heavy ass bike then yea sure, but if your working with 1200-1800cc's still leaves plenty of grunt and room for a little speedin

Shit I took a little cruise on this guy a few weeks back....

Screamin eagle package on it with some V&H pipes and I sure had NO PROBLEMS pullin the throttle around and having some fun!

Truth, I can wheelie the M109 shifting into 2nd gear, only about 6-10 inches but it's still fun and scary.
