Thank god for college football practice: It prepared him for some hard hits with immovable objects!

He should also buy a lottery ticket.

Video of football player hit by truck leaked

BY DI STAFF | SEPTEMBER 02, 2010 7:20 AM

A leaked patrol-car video of Iowa offensive lineman Josh Koeppel's accident that appeared on YouTube has been traced to Koeppel's friends.

Koeppel, riding his moped west on Burlington Street, was struck Monday at 7:25 a.m. by a truck operated by John Logan of Iowa City, who was traveling east on Burlington. Koeppel sustained minor injuries, and Logan received a scheduled fine of $100 for failing to yield while making a left turn.

An Iowa City police officer saw the accident and activated his in-car-recording device. The camera captured the incident.

Koeppel requested a copy of the tape and showed the video to his friends. He was unaware some of these individuals used their cell phones to record the footage — one of which was uploaded online.

The video was determined to be a public record, and there was no criminal violation for the dissemination or online posting.

Hawkeyes head coach Kirk Ferentz said Tuesday it wasn't realistic to expect Koeppel to play in Iowa's season-opener against Eastern Illinois on Saturday.

that's a classic 'left turn sun-in-your-eyes' situation for the car driver.

Be aware when you ride with your back to the sun that car drivers have reduced ability to see you on the left turn.

All i can say is WOW, you can watch a peice of the scooter fly so high it goes off camera. and for him to pop up that quick after hitting a full size toyota tundra is nothing short of amazing

Everyone needs a healthy way to relax, mine Church, and two wheels, a stretch of winding road, and a pipe loud enough to give me headaches and make squirrels explode. (Fixed curtousey of PWRMAD)

Nothing is impossible the second we say ill try your already admiting you can be defeated, and the second you say i cant or its to hard youve already failed.
