crap, leaky fuel lines on the civic...

smelled a strong gas smell and sure enough, the fuel lines are all rusted out and leaking. Anyone change them before? hard job? how much would a mechanic charge to fix them?

any help here would be great.

I think its about 200-400 dollars.

I can give you things other people have done and I take no responsibility

Cut a section of hard line out, and insert FUEL INJECTION rubber hose with fuel injection hose clamps. Make sure you debure the fuel line.

2nd. Is use compression fittings with a metal line

3rd. get a flaring kit and flare the metal tubing.

you might need to buy a tubing bender
