throwback pop

seems the forum died, and I might aswell start something

Pepsi had their throwback soda. Soda made with sugar instead of corn syrup.

It did taste different, but I think my body prefered the sugar. I would keep buying it, if they offered it.

I'm assuming this was a week long, since I don't see it in the 12 pack cases anymore.

Just came to this market the past month, and yes it's how it was back in the pre-mid 80's

Been buying it right and left hoping they will keep feeding it. FL has had it since the beginning of the year, if not earlier. Blew thru many cases back in March when I was down at Sebring.

Everyone Exaggerates

We're being taken for a ride... agaaaaaaain.....

Meijers ran out around here, but jewel still has some around here... 4 - 12 packs for $10 with card.
otherwise, $3.33 / 12 pack or therabouts.

Funny how all of a sudden the general public is figuring out that processed foods are no good for you. Home cooked meals FTW!

corn syrup fawking sucks ass.

I bought some ketchup the other day and saw HUNTS ketchup and it said "made without corn syrup" and looked at the other ketchups on the back which were made with corn syrup.

I wonder if "our" generation will be big time digestive cancer victims in the future from corn syrup.

read pepsi did a 3rd batch in July, so I guess what is available will be it for a while.

Diet and exercise are not mutually exclusive... but some processed food additives are not good for you no matter how much you exercise.

There is always time to make something at home. The school of thought is to 'shop the edges' of the store... hit your produce area, meats, dairy and bakery... F* the rest of it except maybe the spice aisle.

I buy the Throwback Mt Dew EVERYTIME it goes on sale. I always buy 5-6 cases of it. Pepsi makes Throwback a few times a year. It will go on sale again around xmas and new years time.

Pepsi is good, and the Mt. Dew is alright. I LOVE regular Dew, and I love how the Throwback isn't as sweet. Its like I'm actually drinking a liquid and not pure chemicals!

I love the Pepsi Throw Back a lot. When I was in Mexico 2 years ago the pop was so much better tasting because they use sugar. The need to keep this all round long, corn syrup is not healthy at all for you.
