Hopefully this is something I won't have to worry about anytime soon.

I ordered an RSV4R from AF1(Texas) and they told me that Aprilia is trying to get a dealership in Chicago seeing as there are none right now.

This is the main reason I did not buy a Aprilia motard from a guy in Elkhart, IN. There is nowhere to get serviced if something major goes wrong.

DGY is an Aprilia dealer.

I know their service dept. used to have a pretty poor reputation, but things at that dealership in general seem to have changed for the better in recent years.

Grumpy should have a good opportunity to test that theory this week.

Edit: Didn't see Greg's link. I do know DGY picked up Aprilia fairly recently. The techs may not see many or be up to speed yet. It always takes some time to learn a new line.

Roman, after I throw it down the alley from a messed up mono, I will call my Boys at Duc Milwaukee as I think they have a tech on staff from their old Corse Days

DGY, last I checked, won't work on anything older than '06...and the fella I spoke to said they don't know what they're doing with Aprilias anyway

I wouldn't count on them for service.

AF1 it is, maybe check around with some of the racer types and tune shops. I know Valley Racing can handle them.

Tell me what makes an Aprila any different.

Computer service I might understand.

Vtwin,4st,internal combustion. They all work the same.

Funny I've had people with Harleys think that because I work mostly on Jap bikes that I cant fix a Harley.

Lets see now 16 valve 4cly.21st century Jap design.and they're worried about fixing a Harley.

Gus
We offer three kinds of service @ Resurrection
GOOD - CHEAP - FAST
You can pick any two
GOOD service CHEAP won't be FAST
GOOD service FAST won't be CHEAP
FAST service CHEAP won't be GOOD
and cold beer.

I'd love to help but I don't chase parts.
Please contact other forum members and supporters for parts.

Found this in a quick search...dunno how accurate it is anymore, but at least it's multi-state.
