If you're that much of a cheap fuck to spend $8 to $10 on some wings then you can go to the west side of Chicago and head to Uncle Remus's Chicken. There you can get the "hard time special" where you can buy one wing for I think .50 cents or some shit like that. Just make sure you go during the day and that you park close by.

The food there is pretty good from what I remember. I would go there when I was in Carbondale because they played all the UFC fights and had good drink specials. Attire isn't any more provocative than hooters and less revealing than tilted kilt.

I did not read the tribune article, but had personal experience with these. They are hooters immitators. Will do in a crunch when there is no other wing places around, but in Chicagoland, no thank you.

My thoughts exactly. It's the same as Hooters, you don't go for the chicken wings.

I can't stand hooters. All of the food tastes like shit, and most of the waitresses just expect a big tip because they either have boobs or wear a super push up bra to make it look like they do.

Now.. the ones that rest them on your shoulder as they lean over to put the food on your table... so, what's the problem?

I do enjoy their wings and shrimp and fries and 1 out of 4 times the waitress is easy on the eyes. Cannot say the same for Showmes.

That might just be due to different venues then. When I was going to Show Me's, it was in a college town. I've also been served by a transvestite from Hooters - damn equal opportunity employer.
