Online radio?

Is there any decent radio stations that I can open in another tab to listen to while I'm wasting time on the computer? Free is a must, no rap, no country, no flippen kids songs. None of that holiday songs ether.

Are you talking actual FM broadcast from stations in your area? Or just streaming music? If the latter, then digitallyimported hands down. They have every genre covered.

"includes 10 used-car dealers or auto repair shops, 11 liquor stores and bars--two of which advertise lingerie fashion shows and a third billed as a "gentlemen's club"--three cut-rate motels and one trailer park. The squat, brick municipal building is next to a currency exchange and a few steps from an adult video store. The bars open at 10 a.m. and close at 6:30 a.m."

Both Pandora & Slacker are rock solid.

I prefer Slacker over Pandora... gives me more granular control over what I want to listen to.

Another Pandora user. I have a bunch of stations set up to listen to when I'm in different moods.

First 40 hours of the month are free, after that, it's $0.99 for the rest of the month. I usually burn through those 40 hours in the first week.

I didn't realize they had a totally free version, I thought all their offerings were subscription based.

Maybe because they're main page is all about the paid subscription and you have to dig to find the fine print that they're still doing a free service.

Can't argue that point - they try and shove the subscription down your throat as best they can. But if you sift through it, you'll find it's just another ad-supported online radio. Again, the advantage of Slacker is that you can exercise greater control over artists and songs, when you create custom stations. It's really quite nice.

i do see that as pandora's biggest flaw, but youtube compliments it nicely.
