Calling Bug!

Check it out! New Bustin Maestro 32"

You know I wanted a shorter board and I was digging the Maestro, now the two are combined! I know what I'm gonna ask Santa for Christmas.

BTW I'm gonna be doing a training at our Michigan Ave. Campus on Dec. 2nd and 3rd. If by some miracle they call for decent weather, I'll bring my board and we can skate! I'm desperate to take her out, its been too long.

looks fun, i wouldnt get a board that didnt have a tail, and a nose kick, most longboards are too long and if you are heavy like me they are too soft

I'm heavy and my Bustin doesn't flex too badly. It has a small nose and tail kick and only 38" long. I rode Bugs luke nosewalker and that thing is cool but not for me, It felt like a semi truck. I'd like to add a 32" board just because having two is better than one.

'32 is JUUUUUUST long enuff for some speed downhill and still short enuff to kick and flip around - I am too old and lazy - The '38 is perfect for me to cruz on - I can see how the board would be fun tho

Do you get your momentum going on these long boards, just by sweeping back and forth?

Seem's like there's not much kicking to propel, and these guys are carrying some decent tempo....?

(<----- This guy knows NOTHING about longboards, for the record) lol

You kick, but doing the back and forth can help maintain the momentum or kill it depending on how you do it. Basically the combination of bearings and big wheels is what lets you carry speed. I'm a longboard noob but I know a lot has to do with kick technique. I am kicking a lot more than Bug because he has mad skills compared to me.

I've ridden some longboards in bowls and it's weird as hell, kinda fun though.

I would not go that far - I just skate more than you do

Here is a little clip a buddy shot of me the other day - I don't like to use my real name for work purposes we came up with a pseudonym - I had to borrow my buddies shorty for this vid but after a while, I got the feel for it.

If that was you in the video then you must have been skating 24/7
