Awesome Winged Suit demo!

This guy has serious talent!

Makes anything we do look like nothing. Turn the music up, click and watch full screen. Worth watching a couple of times!

It is? Wow, and I thought I stayed fairly current on this site. Oh well, I have never seen it.

Edit: I just did 8 different searches on what it might be listed under, no luck. I did a couple of searches before posting it. Either way, here it is.

should've tried putting "skydiving" in the search box

And as awesome as this is, I highly doubt it requires more talent than you guys hauling ass around the track.

That splains it. I don't go into the random thread often.

Yeah but it requires about two cups more of "crazy".

There is a chute on his back. In one of the other Vimeo videos you see his chute open from a chase "flyer".

one of these flying squirrel dudes was trying to raise 2 million dollars to build a landing "run way" that would enable him to land without use of a chute

What is wrong with a long straight road? Close it down for the 5 minutes it takes to test it... or how about a long flat field? or how about landing on a smooth lake with a chase boat? Come down... flare, skim and get picked up immediately by the boat., perhaps have a little CO2 charged life vest...

i think with the forces involved he had to design landing pad cus he wanted to live through it

these human squirrels are still only capable of roughly a 3 to 1 glide angle...much less than their animal counterparts. so they are really moving
