Our Poor English Dialect

What has happened to the English Dialect and decency of yesteryear? - I hear the term "Dousche" being used in every sitcom on TV and watching the Pack Vikes game, in a Mazda Commercial, they just described the Mazda 3 as "Wicked Cool" - Stay classy America.....

"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming WOW, what a RIDE !!"

Well what happened to actually writing correctly especially on an ad you post up to sell something? And when did sale and sell become interchangeable? Ie, "I have to sale my car" or "I have a car for sell"

Example. This taken from the local Craigslist cars for sale by owner.

Truck runs great 360 v8 auto trans 4x4 works good Now the bad paint is ruff has dings and scratches brakes are squishy front trac bar is bent so steering wheel is offset still drives fine though. i cut the muffler out and piped it loud but not irratating loud. 138xxx miles no leaks that i am aware of my everyday driver i have owned fo about a year and just want something else to drive.thanks Jay 2200 no low ball offers not pushing to sell with snow coming so be real i have the super swampers 4 the front as well have small ones on front cause the big tires were wore out and didnt want a blowout has a brand new cd player in it as well will go with truck if i get close to what i am asking lower rockers are rusted out. i see these trucks going 4 more with double the miles so i would consider mine to be a deal. engine runs smooth as new trans shifts fine transfercase no noises. the tires make a little rumble going down the road but dont affect anything or email may trade 4 a 5.0 mustang *** *** **** ask 4 jay only call if u have 1 money and on your way to come look at it. truck is in my parents yard for sale as well in lake como wi park dr

Mine was from craigslist, where it's $ per post, not letter. Also notice "weekings" rather than "weekends". Just a dumbfuck, that's all.

American English has always constantly changed. Internet has been a catalyst for the past decade or so. You're just getting old, dude. Think about it - why do we not talk like the King James Version of the Bible?

True enough, but I get tired of hearing that as the perpetual excuse for not speaking (or, especially, writing) properly. The formal language is arguably changing in things like the use of "loan" as a verb, which has been changing for a few decades now. It's not changing to use "weekings" to mean "Saturday and Sunday", even informally (unless I've missed another memo from the Grammar Board).
