Am I an a-ahole?

I got a winning bid on an ebay motors auction for a vw jetta real carbon fiber dash kit and real carbon fiber rear view mirror covers. There was a buy it now for 95.00, guy says he spent over 250 on these items. I got them for 51.00 plus 16.97 for shipping.
I get a pay pal notice that it shipped. Yesterday I get a box with just the mirror covers in it. I message the guy through ebay with the subject items not received as described, asking:

Dear jgtothjr,

I received a package today that only contained the mirror covers. I would
like to have you confirm that the dash kit is coming in an other
package.

thanks

-johng1100
I get this reply:

Dear johng1100,

Absolutely...the dash kit was shipped in a second package on the same date at the same time...it is not cool that you opened a dispute before verifying...especially, when you paid less than one fifth the value...not that that even matters...check my feedback, and have a little faith in the overall goodness of man...
Sent from my Verizon Wireless Phone

then I reply:

Dear jgtothjr,

I did not open a dispute. I only clicked on the ask the seller a question
part of this auction listing. There were no indications or tracking #'s
given, so I had no idea there were two shipments. Maybe you should check
your facts before responding. As far as value, I believe an auction
determines value.

-johng1100

then I get this reply:

Dear johng1100,

Please return items for a full refund...I do not like your tone...
Sent from my Verizon Wireless Phone

So was I being too much of a smart ass, or is this guy a little too sensitive?

RIP Ashwin

The guy didn't ship the other items yet, and didn't plan on it. He is going to make a few bucks off charging you shipping, and your going to have to pay to ship it back to him also.

Don't ship it back you did the transaction through ebay so if your paid bia paypal you will get your money back.

He doesn't have the authority to say hay I don't want to send you the rest of the stuff or don't like your tone so send everything back to me, and i will refund you. He is try to back out of sending you the product to be able to sell it for a proffit vs a loss.

I agree he's scamming you. He should have told you it was in 2 shipments when he notified it was on it's way. Your attitude and his have nothing to do with the transaction. And how can you send back the box that's already on it's way to you that you haven't recieved yet?????????????

I would respond back asking how he can hear your tone through email

go time traveler style and go back in time, fuck his grandma, then shoot forward in time and then fuck his mom. Then return back to present state and call him a the product of two incest whores and hes your son and show video of you plowing the both members of his family. .

If this is true, then you get your dash kit in a couple days. Just wait patiently. If its not, then file a dispute with Ebay and Paypal. Once you have both items, the transaction is complete, no reason to send it back.

I'm sure he probably sent it, but to get all the attitude for just asking a question and than for pointing out an error just rubbed me the wrong way.

I've had this done to me before from an EBay seller as well (they told me not to buy from them again.) I thought it was hilarious.

Your seller is being oversensitive. Why don't you tell him you're going to take is lunch money via email and see what happens.

Yeah, he is a whiny sensitve bitch . Nothing you said warranted his response, he should have just simply said they were in two separate shipments and it will be there soon, nuff said, and give you a tracking number for the second package. Just wait for the package for another week. If not received, start the dispute.

You were being straight up with the guy. He could be scamming you but if you get your stuff then nothing to worry about. I'd still give him poor feedback due to his lack of abillity to communicate effectively but I'd wait to see if the rest shows up first. The dude sounds like a Jack Wagon.
