Dec 11th Storm

Kinda cool how the whole thing is swirling around on the radar.

How is the weather down there guys? I'm up in Anchorage drinking beer in the hotel.

Are we going to have good enough weather to ride the ice bikes next weekend? I'm jonesing up here, twitching in the hotel wanting to get out on that ice bike.

Ride fast enough and you can skip it if the ice breaks!!

Ride smart... stupid hurts.

Everyone crashes. Some get back on. Some don't. Some can't...

You should be fine within another week or two. 4-6 inches on the shallower lakes in central wi. This cold snap will help.

8 inches down up here. I still think even after 16"s in 4wd low I will get out of my driveway. it's if blowing and drifting makes it 4 feet in some places that i'm worried about.

big green won't freeze until we have a week of subzero weather in January.

Wisconsin will be shut down and digging out tomorrow.

I'm thinking of moving my IL trip to monday. I can pick up cables, drop my kids in IA, then hit chicago and be back here by 6.

Getting nasty here. Retarded city started salting around 7pm. Should mention that it was about an inch of wet snow then. Well the melt refroze and the new snow makes it FUN.

I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

I don't know about in your area, but some of the ladies here in my condo complex got a stiff 9 inches of accumulation last night.

"includes 10 used-car dealers or auto repair shops, 11 liquor stores and bars--two of which advertise lingerie fashion shows and a third billed as a "gentlemen's club"--three cut-rate motels and one trailer park. The squat, brick municipal building is next to a currency exchange and a few steps from an adult video store. The bars open at 10 a.m. and close at 6:30 a.m."

What am I doing right now? I'm studying at some coffee house. Almost done with the 5 papers I had to write this week. After this, I'm going to find a bar and watch the Bears game and drink 10 beers.

I'm on a tour of 4 military bases up here. Fort Greely, Fort Wainwright, Elmendorf Airforce Base and Fort Richardson.

The weather is nice in Anchorage right now. They have a nice snow base, too bad I don't have the time to hit the slopes.

not even all that windy here - also, they were saying 6-8 inches. 1/2 inch is a pretty far cry.
