ugg... all the places dont have the right size or they charge 3x the price of speedy metals which thus means I can get 2x pieces from SM and shipping for same cost. Which I was considering doing.

I just need to be patient and do the project slowly. (like take a week, not a day)

Ill post up my results when I am done with the project!

Thanks for helping me with the suppliers and trying to find the right one!

what? mcmaster has what you need, an 8 foot peice was like 29 dollars
the site you posted had it priced by the inch adn came out to be like 20 for the same length
U chanel can be comfusing at times when ordering it, some places describe leg length as a dual dimension: 1x1 this doesnt refer to their length adn width but the length of each leg as you can get unequal leg length U-channel

direct link to exactly what you spec'd out:

mcmaster part num: 9001K38

ah, you did the "by the inch" pricing.

Quote:
48" Plus or Minus 3/4" 2.0400 lbs Price: $8.45
when you scroll further down the page.

Then I did x2 = 16+11$ shipping to my door and then I dont have to drive out to mcmaster heh.

EDIT

Plus I was being lazy and dont have the tools to cut the pieces down. I coulda dremeld but looks matter on this build.
