You see 10 foot cuts all the time in Colorado or Utah.

Done with snowblower type attachments on the front of trucks as shown. Can't plow when it is taller than the snow plow.

COOL shots, I'd like to see more. Where are these from, looks like overseas...

I would have thought that they would use some sort of excavating equipment. Either way, it is going to be a LONG process.

When I first moved out to Glacier the pass hadn't been cleared so we watched them make progress on it every day and it is those huge trucks. While the pass was still closed the east end visitor's center has a big display on how they plow the pass, and it did come out looking similar to this in the end. Very cool stuff. The side of the road that was lower elevation, however, was completely knocked out. This was before the days of digital cameras, but I have some cool pics at home.

Been to Colorado as a kid and saw a similar road cleared like that. Very humbling when you stand on top of the car, and still are a good 6 feet from the top.

Merry Christmas, I think I'm taking the rest of the day off and going skiing with the kids at cascade or snowmobiling before I strangle the gordon flesch copier tech that is trying to use up all my patience and good will this holiday season.

hardware tech is on the phone with corporate way over his head on a defective copier unable to grasp simple networking and copier functionality and administration. I'm sick of taking the phone from dude b/c he's in over his head and dealing directly with tier 2 tech. Calgone take me away.
