so i was playing with barbie dolls today

got to find something to do till riding season ......with my 5 year old niece you guys- what a great time (well sort of but i do love spending time with my nieces and nephews) left me wondering whatever happens to that whole world of make believe when we get older. got to spend time with these kids when they're young so that they still want to hang out with you when they get older - they grow up so quick.

I took Abi out on a lunch date today. She still believes in Santa, and I hope she never grows up. Like today at lunch, we found Mario. Haha

We still play pretend - ie all the track day crap, or riding our bikes on the street.

Nothing like seeing the world through the eyes of the innocent to realize how much we've changed... It's great that you guys (Eric & Dave) spend some quality time with the little ones!

The real art of conversation is not only to say the right thing at the right time, but also to leave unsaid the wrong thing at the tempting moment.

Lucy talks to herself and she lines up her little dolls and babbles. She's still a ways away from make believe that I can participate in, but you can see it there. We're born with that somehow. It's just incredibly frikin cute.

People get older, dreams vanish.

Rather than playing doctor with dolls who have no feelings/pain, letting kids have a lot of fun...kids become adults, adults become real doctors, those doctors work on real patients with real problems. Not as fun I wouldn't think. (but important, don't get me wrong, the real world is just a bit more rough than fantasy land)

Oh yeah, dreams vanish. Did I say that?

Well some do (here's to holding onto my dream of owning a Lambo)!

The kind of bitches I pull you can't beat off, mostly due their lack of penis. Good luck with those dick wielding bitches you'll be pulling with your el camino.
