Anyone like Pool? Jeanette Lee Exhibition in Chicago tonight/tomorrow night

Former World Champion – The Black Widow

EVENT IS FREE

Hey folks, Greg Kotlinski and a few of us are going to see Jeanette Lee “The Black Widow” do her shtick for APA Leagues tonight (and tomorrow night)

Not only is she nice to look at, mother of two, and a good sense of humor, she is a phenomenal pool player.

Details are here: http://www.apablackwidowtour.com/

Directions are here: http://www.apablackwidowtour.com/ind...0/11/chicago1/

Should be a fun night out if anyone is interested in joining us. Starts at 7, I am leaving home at 5:30 and hope to be early.

Going to the one tomorrow night as well in Arlington Heights, figure if we go twice, she may remember us... LOL!

And for fun, here is a video of her:

And her new Ford commercial:

Hope you can make it,

Best,

Brian

I was standing right there, but she had the League Operator do it, Brad something that all the APA players knew.

The show itself is about an hour. She is very personable, and funny. She does trick shots and then after that first hour is up, she takes challenge games from the crowd (raffle drawings) for about an hour and then autographs and talks to everyone.

We stayed for the trick shot show and then went home. It was definitely fun!

Quite a few of the top players, men and women alike are wearing the glove. The claim is that is always provides the same consistent stroke. Thinking about trying one myself.

+1 I know it looks dorky. But for the consistency factor, it's worth it.

I'm starting to notice the difference in stroke through out the evening as perspiration or humidity changes. It never used to matter, but when you've got to start segmenting pockets or speed has to be dead on, it's the difference between a sweet shot and a flop.

It is a good way to pass the winter months around here.

I have some folks that come over and play pool most Tuesday nights. Come on up and check it out sometime. Drop me a PM on Monday or Tuesday and I can tell you if I am in town for it and if it is happening.

Note: We have a few people that are new to pool, so we have all skill levels.

Love to see your game, CLSB has some pretty decent pool players.

Sweet, I might take you up on that offer Brian. Do you guys play 8-ball, 9-ball? What's the preferred game?

Usually 8-ball since it is the simplest. If it is better players, 9. If it is only a few people, we play Straight Pool (short games to 25).

The game of choice here at home is Straight Pool (14.1) games to 50.
