Orange Snot Rocket

Just noticed ... MCC got an orange Speed Four in.

So how many people on here owned/have owned some version of that bike - be it Speed Four or Daytona 600?

I think Staminal still has a D600, and RamenBoy still has the Snot Rocket ... but who else?

Grover owned it first, bought it new. They're nice enough bikes.

It is a very fun bike. Easy to ride, comfortable, and a very unique look. Lack of aftermarket parts, crappy transmission, I4, and a habit of this engine going boom makes a SV650 more attractive bike. My next nekkid bike will probably be a M900 or S4RS. Something more for street/sport touring, and general commuting.

I miss that bike. Have a guy who wants to trade an '07 zx6r plus cash for the M109r and it reignited the spark to go back to a 600cc sportbike...

hmmmmmmm.....

What's MCC asking for it?

Aye, but it has been down on the right side, I'd take off the radiator cover/bellypan and would probably have a hard time selling them, 14k miles is about when the engine blew up on Ramen and I'm faithful to Roulette Green. Next bike will be one of these:

V11 Sport, guy had one with 3k miles for sale a couple years ago, asking $5k... I still kick myself for not buying it.

BMW Rockster R1150R, There are a few for sale within 500 miles with 4-14k miles, asking around $6k.

Street Triple- I heart GREEN bikes!

yup, around 14k and change, the s4 crapped out. now, with a newer ('o5) engine with less miles (just over 5k), i'm a happy rider again.

i'd like to experience a litre bike, but when it does come time to upgrade, the snot rocket, i'd prob go street triple. roulette green, of course.

it ain't snot, unless its green.
