Crashed a helicopter crash today.

Lets just say everyone is OK. Just when I was landing a gust of wind turned it on its side about a foot from touching down. Rotor blades hit the ground and then landed on its side. Happened so fast I couldnt react fast enough on the cyclic or collective.

Pics forth coming.......

I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

Wait, you were piloting a helicopter? And that is a scary sight, no doubt. Glad everyone is ok, looking forward to the pics.

Well I am learning to fly one. Now just gotta go buy some new parts for it. Definately needs new rotor blades, new blade holder and mixer bar.

I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

Not much visible damage. Will get better look once I pull the head apart.

Here you can see the mixing linkage where it broke off the blade holder.

I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

Brianne bought me one of those toy copters for my birthday a couple years back. It's supposed to be one of the best micro-copters available, but the thing is a real bitch to fly. And the cats go fucking nutty when it's on...they think it's a giant bug or something. Bengals jumping 7' into the air and knocking it down like King Kong and shit.
