The Royal Wedding

is getting old. How many times do I have to hear them tear apart and analyze the vows? How many times do I have to hear about how that bag MIGHT be the wedding dress? They showed pictures of the street they would be driving down after the wedding. Riveting. Does anybody really get into this?

I just don't understand why people give a shit about what other people do in their personal lives...seriously, how shallow must your daily life be to really care about this?

My cousin lives just outside of London and she says it's funny, they could have 11 days off work with one 3 vacation days used.

Good friday, then Easter monday, vacation days for tues, wed, thursday, the wedding is Friday, and then Monday is MayDay. Several british companies simply closed for the almost 2 weeks due to so many employees taking extended time off with so few vacation days used. It's also a sore spot with the British, they make the wedding day a holiday, so it's time and a half for government employees, and no police are allowed to take friday off. So their payroll budget was doubled, due to the holiday pay, and the extra people working on their "normal" day off. She also said it's crazy trying to go anywhere, there are little tent cities of people trying to see the wedding, and they have been there for DAYS already. Crazy...

I don't ride, I cook!

I've barely seen any coverage at all.... but I don't watch much TV.

I thought about tuning in for a bit. People talk about how they remember exactly where they were when particular historical events took place. One is always Diana's death, and another her wedding day. When my kids ask me where I was, am I going to say, 'I don't know, probably at work?'

Another thing I don't understand... people are supposedly going to rush to get copies of her dress for their own weddings. Why would you do that? Everyone will have already seen it, and you know damn well it's not going to look as good on the average bride as she did. What's the pull?

Yes, once the naked pics of Kate surface, I will be much more interested. Until then, I don't care what Will is doing today before the BIG wedding, or that Harry is riding his Ducati, or that hats are all the rage, or where their honeymoon destination is. FFS!

only women give a shit about the royal wedding because its the one small time in the history of their lives that the fairy tale is true, a girl become a princess.

Haven't seen much coverage on this at all. As soon as something about it comes on TV I use that magical plastic thing with buttons to change the channel!

Then I count my $100s. Holla!!!!
