Contour 1080p DV Camera?

Anyone familiar with this camera?

http://www.dvor.com/contour-event-13-2011-05-12.html

It's on sale at this invite only (word of mouth) discount site called DVOR.

I've bought some backpacks, AR parts, and a spotting scope from them, decent prices *sometimes*. Here is an invite code if you want to check it out.

http://www.dvor.com/s/20o9g.html

Since I'm hoping to be doing more bike riding and hiking this year, I'm thinking a hands free DV camera would be cool, but I've not heard of this Contour brand before...I figured you all would know better than most.

Contour is good stuff. Video quality is just as good as gopro. If it has the features you want, I'd snatch it up.

My buddy likes his. He picked up a Ram mount kit so he can mount the thing to basically anything. Here is what he uploaded from the STT ACC day in April with standing water. You can see the gps isnt spot on.

Just tell her that is where you are going, then you dont have to worry about it.

I love mine and would not even use a go pro even if I got it for free after using the contour GPS. Work great when we go cart and catch all the good crashes and passes!!!

Me and Marr both have one and the main reason we bought them is the ease of turning on and off. You don't even have to look at teh camera to turn it on.

Here is a some footage on the lowest quality setting to make sure it would fit on the small memory card we had in it.

Here is another camera from a different members only store. This one is called the Drift. There is a motorcycle video at the bottom where the guy talks while videoing...it looks pretty damn neat! But I already blew my mad money for the spring, just figured I'd share. ETA: Just finished the video, he compares the GoPro and Contour and says why he picked the Drift over them.
