So, you like to drink?

I did too, those of you that know me know that I drank a lot. I quit drinking about a year ago. And since then noticed that my stomach is quite fucked up. Saw a doc today who found gastritis and candida. I've been healthy for the last nine months. He took biopsies and is going to let me know what's going on.

Drinking can cause lifelong problems in your body. I'm only 29years old.

shieeeeet i haven't drank a drop for almost a month now. lost about 10 lbs so far. my knees are almost healed up now as well. i had to buy knee braces to keep em inline and that helped heal em up pretty quick. i do plan on drinking like a fish when i go camping next weekend though.

so what's all this gastritis and candida deal? what are the consequences and is there therapy? or are you just fucked for life?

What test did they do for candida? I spoke to my doc about it (got all kinds of stomach issues myself) and he told me that there really was no test. They can check for the antibodies but pretty much everyone has those.

My name is JB, people call me JB

It is. My close friend (who died of a drug overdose) had that and it was bad. My Dr. friend said 9 times out of 10 that is caused by alcohol abuse. I think when he ran out of drugs he pounded major amounts of vodka to help him come down. I'm not really sure because I was suprised he had it when he told me because I never really saw him drink as much as I thought it would take to cause that. Even your close friends can hide their problems from you.

If you ain't with us, then it's just bad news.

I dunno, I was pretty fucking high when he talked to me. Take an anti-fungal med for a minute, and then work on the gastritis part, think I can do some of the medicating with apple cider vinegar. I started taking a pump inhibitor 3 days ago, and have never felt better in my life, which means I was tolerating the pain for quite some time and didn't even know how much energy was wasted tolerating the pain.

He biopsied, will let me know in a week. I know it exists all the time, but after reading it says something about weakened immune system which, to me, is fucking strange since I'm Rambo and indestructible.

synthesized factory foods are awesome. They get you ripped in no time at all, ya know, instant gratification is what it's all about. Hedonistic values as well.
