Is there an interest in the group buy for this?

It does not matter if your tank is plastic or not. You CAN have a tank bag now.

Givi has this new tank bag that snaps on to a mounting plate that is bolted to a gas filler opening. Making this bag a perfect solution for those that have plastic gas tank.

Here are some pictures.

Just trying to figure out if there is enough interest for this.

Price and install method dependent...my current tank bag is useless with the Tuono.

Price will be right, but also will depend on the number of request. it is a simple bolt on.

Don't think it will work with my application but if you can get one to work with a 2008 Hypermotard I would be interested.

I'll need to confirm compatibility with a 00 F4. The Honda 7 bolt mounts it shows in the compatibility pdf (for 07's and up) 'appear' to be the same style, but I would need a confirmation on it since it's just a drawing in the document. Safe to assume the mount itself will be included? Only asking because I see some places selling them separately.

Mount is sold separately. Metal part that is.

I called and could not get yes or a no. What I did I checked with my OEM supplier and gas cap cover for an 2000 F4 is the same part number as 2007 VFR800 and VFR is listed on the pdf.

ive got an enormous technic bag and while it doesnt look nearly as nice as that, the space comes in handy. I couldn't put any of my school books in that.

Well, it is not really intended to carry this much but if you ever decide to switch to GIVI, they do have big bags that will fit your needs, let me know.

It seems about the right size to pack away some vittles, water and cigars which would be perfect for my needs.

Wallet, Cellphone, Sunglasses, deodorant, Water bottle, hat and change of shirt was my standard kit when riding medium distance in the summer.

I couldn't fit that in there. I could in my slightly larger JR Manta XL but it was tight, I wouldn't want anything smaller than that. It was just enough to get me by on a F4T with just the Manta XL. Just an opinion.

Totally forgot to mention this. GIVI also have an expandable bag that clips just the same way. Arch, I still can't believe he is gone, got one early this summer and was very happy with it.

Did I read right that bag is 22L capacity? I just gave it away my tank bag as it is magnetic and scratched the hell out of my tank. Another ~20L that stays off the paint could be very handy.

Dang. At 200 it is much more then this and you can't beat GIVI quality.

I had one, they are quality! Pricey, yes, but works as a camera mount and has about 5 different types of bags to mount to the cam system. Like I said, just throwing out options because many people dont know these exist.

I wonder if i could fit that larger tank bag and mount on my concours with the factory pocket still in place. It'd be nice to have a larger storage unit up front for the longer trips.
