Getting The Op

Lower back has been jacked up pretty bad since Brad's MX class 2 Sundays ago - Did the NWGP race this past weekend in pain and sitting at my desk for work is killing me - Called and am getting the Epidural Thurs, MRI in the next week or so and then the Operation - I cannot take this shit anymore - Between the pain pills and the anti inflamitories, I have become immune to too many Meds and refuse to make the jump to Oxy - Seen that drug fuck some people up

It is a procedure where they cram flexible needle into my disk so it surrounds the parameter - Then they heat it up to expand the disk and as they remove it, they inject a type of foam to attempt to return it to it's normal size and shape - God I fucking hope this works

If not, stay tuned to the "For Sale" section for a great deal on a Dirt Bike as jumping is killing me - I know I know, 'Ride Trails" - Bah - I would die a little inside every time I saw and MX track and could not go roll doubles

I just hope that SM will not continue to hurt and lord knows what the HD has in store for me - I gotta get that fucking pig outta storage

"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming WOW, what a RIDE !!"

Am I the only one who is completely surprised that that beautiful Harley still hasn't been ridden this year? Get that thing out and put some miles on it!

Seriously tho, good luck with the surgery when it comes up. Hopefully it does the trick and gets you back to functioning properly.

Good luck with procedures bruddah. Since everyone else already offered to help - I don't feel bad telling you not to call me until you're fully recovered and ready to have fun again.

I am getting the Epidural tomorrow and will discuss everything then - It is an out patient thing and not the full disc rebuild as that will sideline you from life for at least a month and fuck me if I can't do that

Thanks all - Those that I have rode with over the years know (by listening to me bitch......shut up Roman) that my back is jacked but I have played in pain so as not to let it take me out of the game - Fuck if it has not caught up to me - Being 78 years old sucks

Anyone wanna buy a Dirt Bike with new tires and (6) spare oil filters? - I can always get another one if the op takes and prob gonna chill on the MX for a bit - Gonna hold onto the Sumo tho as there really is no jumping (bless you NWGP and your pavement only ways)

I am getting the HD on Sat and will Doug Henry that money pit if I have to - Love that pig

Yeah, it is a series of procedures from what I am told - Some take the first time - Some take 2-3 times

The other option has me off my feet for too long

I have not been fucked like this since the 3rd grade
