Whoa, I often take that train. I took the first express at 5:40 this morning to get in the office early, I made the right call.

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!

I bleed GREEN

bummer, hope no one was hurt and the train schedule doesn't screw up anyone's commute.

The article said 5 people were taken to the hospital, hopefully nothing serious.

Good point about the commutes. This was one of the last express trains in so I'm crossing my fingers that my commute home isn't affected.

My Metra train was hit by an Amtrak train pulling into the station today. There was a woman pregnant with twins that went into contractions. If you pray please pray for her and her kids to be okay. Thanks

I was in the vestibule and watched as the other train scrapped against our car shredding the handrails and metal. I walked away fine, other didn't. Sometimes you don't know why but you have to be thankful

My sister was on that train. She said it wasn't a big deal though. They thought it just derailed, nobody knew they crashed.

Edit: guess it depends where you were in the car. She was in one of the last cars.

Everyone knows there's no God to pray to. That's probably why they disliked your post.
