03/04 gsxr 1000 radiator

I need a new radiator for my 03 gsxr 1000
supposedly the 01/02 radiators will work but i havent been able to confirm this
mine is leaking frim the core

brought it to rex radiator yesterday, not terribly impressed with their customer service... it was almost as if i was inconveniencing him by bringing in a radiator
get a call today, and the guy starts off with... your radiator is junk, thats all he said, told him id come pick it up anyways. get there and they had to go find it. they threw it on their scrap pile and started burying it
the guy that went looking for it, as hes going to look for it makes the comment : youre here for that radiator for your overpriced motorcycle?

only a top level shop can even think about working on those, most cant, and even a good one cant always fix a bike rad, i had this problem once and it looked so simple to fix, one hose fitting had its solder cracked in a fall, easy to get to and work on, but 2 shops tried and failed and i ended up buying a new one

what makes a bike radiator different than a car radiator?

and I don't think anything on a radiator is soldered.

Thin wall aluminum radiator. Most places don't like to deal with that.

Maybe you can send it to a specialist:

http://www.motorcycleradiators.com/newshop/

Pricing seems very good and all they do is bike and ATV radiators....

its got a small leak in the core, it might have more than 1 now at the abusive hangs of rex as they didnt seen thrilled to see it and it was buried in their scrap pile when i got there to pick it up

ill have to run it over there next week unless they are open on sat
