iPhone question

For those of you that have an iPhone.

Does anybody know if the iPhone supports the ability to send all calls that are not in my address book straight to voice mail?

Not that I know of.

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!

that is what I was afraid of. My old windows mobile phone did alot of things this iphone doesn't.

I really wish they spent more time making a good phone, and less time making a great platform for apps.

if somebody wants to develop the app, I will gladly pay the $3~$5 it would likely cost.

Preware has one called Call Block

forums.precentral.net maintained by userid Elryon, it does just that. Perhaps they know of a specific iphone app or might tweak the pre one to fit your needs.

^^ works great

On a side note, anyone know why some numbers that are not in my contacts have the ability to decline, while others it does not give that option?

Do you get a proper callerid with both, or is there some difference between the two?

programmatically, a call with proper callerid info to cross reference the contact list *should* return a different result/error code (not found) than one that does not have callerid info to cross reference with (none provided to cross reference with)....

With proper ID, I'd return a 'not found' error code to hard decline it.. whereas one without the proper info to get a solid compare to your contacts... I'd give you the option to decline it or not...

...just a guess. I'm curious if you found a difference between the two...
