Gear + Dealer question

I have a friend who is a girl and she wants to try on some riding gear. I typically went to chicago cycle to try stuff on but now its closed I'm not sure which dealers are still open and has a big inventory. I have done some searches but I was wondering if anyone has been to any good dealers with a lot of gear to try on. She will be ordering from somewhere else most likely, just want to try gear for sizing.

I have a bunch of crap hanging on the side of my garage. Helmets jackets, pants and gloves from many different manufacturers......she is welcome to come over for a custom fitting.

its pretty hard finding dealers with a lot of stuff in stock for females. What does she need? Helmet is going to be pretty easy for her to try on and buy at Chicago Performance. Gloves and jacket will be harder... Maybe DGY or the Dainese Store has some girly gear in stock.

local shops love it when u try stuff on, then later order online.
soon there will be even "less" local shops because of this.

Like i said... when I was looking at stuff (2-3 years ago) it was at chicago cycle, and theres no way i'd buy anything from there. I'm not saying other dealers dont give good deals its just based on the experience I've had, ofcourse if they pricematch to online, might as well buy it at the store. DGY looks like it has a good selection though

DGY usually has a good selection ... a good place to start. But if you're in LP, that's a heckuva drive. So many shops have closed, I don't know what's around any more.

Randal: [to Dante] Would you grow up!
Becky: [to Dante] OK, I'm only telling you this because we're friends, but sometimes, in the heat of the moment, it's forgivable to go ass-to-mouth.
Randal: [chuckling] Ha! I knew it.

HDTony.... Damn glad to meet you!

Be sure to ask CP about the free jackets when you go there to try on gear.

I think you caused Chicago Cycle to close down.

If you don't support your local dealer, you'll have nowhere left to try on gear. How then will you ever make a purchase decision?

Your best option = go into a local dealer, try some things on, get advice from knowledgable local salesperson, have them order for you if they don't have in stock, then pickup from said establishment.

You got the help you need to get the gear you need, they got the sale they need in order to keep their doors open to help you. The circle of life.
