So, which brings to mind, why don't race bikes have drag race style kill switches that would kill the motor in a get off?

It was over far enough, I would have thought the tip sensor would have activated.

i think alot of racers disable the tip-over because they sometimes shut the bike down midcorner.

Because they could get caught up by another racebike. Would be disaterous midcorner if 2 bikes leaning on eachother and one bikes bars snag the kill laynard.

Exactly. Racebikes usually go lower than streetbikes and the tipover is set for street.
