I'm sending a bill to ATT

a$$ packers send me an email telling me I owe $212.20. I canceled my home phone in April and it was paid in full.
1 and 1/2 hours later I finally get this guy telling me it was a computer error on their part. I tell him fine just send me an email to that effect. He says they cannot do that. I repeat myself, "you are able to send my incorrect billing, but you cannot send me verification that I don't owe?" This whole process took over 1 1/2 hours and no less than 5 operators because each one only has so much access. I think it's time to send them my hourly rate. I'm pissed big.

Ask them for a closing/final invoice/statement that shows $0.00 owed.

No one will stop and personally write you a letter, but they can send you your closing statement.

Besides, when it's all said and done, you would have cost them more than $212.20 in corporate resources/time

This is why I always paid them at least 1 cent more than I owed as a final... because they will send you years worth of monthly bills showing your credit I'm up to 3 years of monthly paper showing a 6 cent credit on a closed account with another phone company.

Works for other companies too who have automatic processing/invoicing... This one has 1.46 of my money and I don't care





One day I'll get around to asking them to cut me a check...

As a company, I'm totally pissed off with them. Not the people that work there, but the a$$hats that figured out how to F the public. It seems the powers to be still think they have a monopoly and they can do whatever they want and the customer just has to sit back and take it. F them. I will make it my ever ending effort to convince people to cancel their services. They are not the only show in town any more and they need to figure that out.
