New rider report...

Happy to report the two new riders that each bought Busas from us are still rolling, no crashes, still being safe from what I can tell, and have a few thousand miles on them. Maybe it's the personality of the rider and not necessarily the bike that causes accidents?

Older. That probably helps. Not like old wrinkled balls old, but maybe mid 30s?

Yes, age has a lot to do with it. I know a 19 yr old who just started riding a 250 and she is fk'in lethal. Already shedding her gear because it is too hot and doing wheelies. Young and dumb.
Cannot explain how happy I am that I didn't ride when I was younger and thought I was indestructible.

Who's us?

When I was drag racing nobody ever went down. All we did was find an open road and mash the gas in a straight line. We cruised from spot to spot slow enough so people could see the bling on our bikes. That all changed when I discovered corners!! LOL and I'd probably be dead if I was still doing it!

Don't forget the third rider and July Chicago Performance customer of the month! I caught the fine lady riding home on I90 today.
